final regular night at fairbury

August 30, 2010 - we qualified 12th and got 4th in the heat race, on a follow the leader on the bottom track. in the feature the car again, just wouldnt get traction so we chose to pull off and save fuel and equipment. Were looking forward to the two day show at fairbury this week for a great end of the season show.

final points night

August 25, 2010 - our final points night started out well with a 11th place qualifying effort out of 36 cars. unfortunately we could not keep the car working good through the heat race, nor the semifeature. we tried a couple new things that just did not work on the car. we failed to make the feature. well regroup for this coming weekend and hope to get the car going again. On the bright side, we did finish the season 8th in points at fairbury speedway. after finishing 10th in points last year, our goal was to make the top 10 again. We are pleased with that outcome.

good night

August 16, 2010 - we were able to transfer into the feature through the heat sat night with a 4th place finish. we went on to finish 11th in the feature, which I did not expect to be in, due to all the extra cars, and top quality cars at that. with some luck and a couple new things we tried on the car, it turned out to be a good night overall. the team was very pleased. thanks again to all the crew, sponsors, family, friends, and fans that support us.

avg night

August 9, 2010 - after running 3rd and 4th in the heat race and in a transfer position, an out of control driver spun and collected us and we were unable to finish the heat. we had to run the semi and finished 3rd to transfer to the feature, in which we finished 14th.

good points night

August 2, 2010 - after running 9th and tenth, we suffered a flat tire and finished 14th in the makeup feature. In the regular feature, we finished 8th after a 3rd place in the heat race.

june 29

June 29, 2010 - thanks again to all our 2010 sponsors.

rough night, decent outcome

June 21, 2010 - the track was the roughest its been in recent memory on sat which caused lots of torn up equipment for many cars in all classes. the 36 machine started inside 4th row of the heat. during the heat shane allen of east peoria spun in the corner and with no place to go, we crashed our right front into his left front pretty hard, bending a spindle, upper a-frame, radiator and alot of body damage along the right side of the car. we ended up finishing 5th though with a very tough handling car. we were able to repair what we could as we were slated to start on the pole of one of the two semi features. Luckily we outlasted the other cars and were able to pick up our 2nd win of the season in the semi leading steve lance jr across the line. The feature saw alot of torn up cars, again, due to rough track conditions. We started 18th and were up to 12th when we pulled out. The motor went flat on us so we chose to be better safe than sorry. well get the motor checked over and fix the car up and hope to make it back out next week.

more rain

June 14, 2010 - rained out again June 12th.

June 7, 2010 - after qualifying 11th sat night, we had a very ill handling car in the heat which finished us 5th. we went on to win the semi feature however. All feature events were cancelled due to tornado activity in the area. Our thoughts to those in the area that were hit and effected by them.

June 1, 2010 - the guys had to weld a crack in the frame that was found after qualifying sat night. This no doubt was due to the crash the week before. after running 2nd most of the heat race, we finished 4th. In the feature we tried a few more adjustments on the car but went a little far as the car was tight going into the corners for most of the race but not bad otherwise. the team will go over the car this week and get ready for next sat.

tough weekend

May 24, 2010 - Sat at FALS the team felt good being in top 10 in points and hoping for a good eve. In qualifying we got to high on the cushion and got sucked into the wall resulting in front end damage. The crew replaced the broken parts and we made it into the heat racing finishing 4th after starting to the rear. We then started on the outside of the front row in the semi. We ran 2nd and 1st most of the race until the car got loose going into turn one and clipped a infield tire and nearly spinning the car out. we then were unable to transfer to the feature. Sunday we traveled to Danville and drove for Tim Lance in one of his 48 machines. We missed the feature again by one spot after racing through the semi. Well look to get our 36 machine all fixed up and ready to go again and give it our best for the upcoming weekend. Thanks to the pitcrew guys for all there hard work both nights this weekend

cold night

May 9, 2010 - the team encountered a broken left rear hub in the heat race while running 4th and going for 3rd. The guys all pitched in and made a great replacement of the hub and regular car changes just in time for the semifeature. After starting last in the semi, the 36 managed a 3rd place finish. In the feature we finished where we started, 18th. a poor tire choice kept the car from going anywhere or working properly. A dissapointment after finishing well in the Northern All Stars race the week before. The guys will go over everything on the car and make sure there wasnt something that was missed and kept the car from working well on the track. once again thanks to all our sponsors, supporters, and pitcrew.

learning curve

April 4, 2010 - last night at peoria the team struggled with the cars handling. With all the updates and changes that were made over the winter, it was to be expected. Lots of changes were made between races and the car did improve but not enough to make the A main. the team will go through the car and check everything over and see if there was something that was missed or if new set ups will be needed etc. We will plan to be at Fairbury practice day to do a few more tests and set ups to see if improvements can be made.

weekend racing

March 31, 2010 - The team is ready for the first night of racing this weekend at the Peoria Speedway for the 4000 to win Bohlander Memorial. We are excited to try the changes and updates to the car as well as the Cornett motor.

Preparing for 2010

January 25, 2010 - Currently the team is preparing for 2010 with updates to the chassis as well as freshening motors etc. They are also excited about a new color scheme designed and printed from Charlie from Aftershock Graphics that is still in the works. The team plans on opening up the season on April 3rd at Peoria Speedway unless an opportunity to race earlier presents itself.
